It would probably help to know if it’s trying to use Alsa or Pulse for the audio backend, but its not obvious from the logs. I’ve tried using raspi-config to make sure audio is set to HDMI0 output, disabling audio in SteamLink, and a handful of other things like updating the Pi firmware. The logs don’t show anything as ‘FATAL’ or ‘ERROR’ level for whatever reason. It’s hard to tell if it’s failing due to XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not being set, being unable to initialize SDL for the sound device, or due to the CURL code 6 errors. I’ve been trying to get SteamLink working on my RPi 4 with Bullseye ‘Lite’/headless installed.
